Having joined Smith Partnership in 2013 as the Head of Business & Personal Insolvency I have over a decade of experience in law and specialise in insolvency issues. Prior to joining the company, I had worked as a solicitor at a national law firm where I demonstrated my proficiency for dealing with a variety of legal matters.
On a day to day basis I deal with a range of insolvency issues helping clients get to the bottom of both corporate and personal insolvency matters. I also do a lot of work in an advisory capacity providing help and guidance to directors and companies on issues including: administration, members voluntary liquidation, creditors voluntary liquidation, compulsory liquidation or subject to a company voluntary arrangement.
Alongside this I act on behalf of directors in providing advice on antecedent transactions. Furthermore, I advise individuals on bankruptcy matters.
Away from the office, I enjoy being active and playing both netball and volleyball as well as spending time with my two nephews. I also like to bake, do gardening, walk around the Peak District and travel the USA.
