It was back in 1992 that I joined Smith Partnership as a solicitor. I have enjoyed career progression since then and was made Partner in 1999, Head of Dispute Resolution in 2004 and in 2012 I became Head of Business Services – a role I still enjoy.
My working day sees me involved in all aspects of dispute resolution including contractual issues, professional negligence and some insolvency matters. I also deal with a reasonable amount of advocacy work.
My role includes dealing with disputes relating to the licencing industry, including pub leases/tenancies.
I am married with three children and a dog. My interests include playing golf (though I don’t get to do this as often as I’d like). I support Shrewsbury Town in their regular defeats. I recently joined a quiz team which I am finding disturbingly enjoyable. I will forever resist the temptation of reading the Daily Mail…
