I joined the firm in October 2016, working within the Child Care Department. However, before becoming a solicitor I worked in the medical sector until I retrained completing the LLB and Legal Practise Course. I then spent time lecturing in law before embarking upon practise as a solicitor, having gained experience over the last 18 years within family and children law.
My duties now include advising families in situations where social services have become involved. I also attend local family courts where I am regularly instructed to represent children, parents and other family members.
I am a pretty active person so when not in the office I can be found competing in cross country and fell racing events or on the athletics track in the summer months. I also enjoy cycling and swimming.
