My career with Smith Partnership began in 1996 when I joined the Crime Department. Since that time, I have gained a huge amount of experience in all areas of criminal litigation and advocacy.
After building a first-class reputation in the local Magistrates’ Courts, I qualified as a Higher Courts Advocate in 2007 and became a Partner in 2013.
I work in the Crown Court Department and represent clients at the Crown Court and in the Court of Appeal. I have been involved in a large number of serious and complex criminal cases, from serious violence to drugs cases as well as cases involving fraud, serious sexual offences and murder.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. I am also more and more of an armchair football fan, still convinced I could ‘do a job’ if only other commitments allowed.
