Premises Manager – Norman House, Derby
We have a new role available for a Premises Manager based at our Head Office in Derby. The suitable candidate will report to IT and the Managing Partner and be responsible for the maintenance and repair at all of our seven offices at Derby, Burton-upon Trent, Swadlincote, Leicester and Stoke.
Candidates must be capable of carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and instructing and supervising contractors when required. The role will require the creation of a maintenance plan to keep the buildings in a high standard of repair including organising periodic inspections such as Gas Safety and Electrical Installation Certification, as well as providing manual support to the IT department, arranging and undertaking deliveries and supplies to all offices in the firm’s vehicle and be responsible for monitoring health and safety and fire safety compliance across the firm.
The ability to be able to work unsupervised and have a common sense approach of DIY tasks is essential. Candidates must be computer literate and able to operate the firm’s computer based help desk.
A full driving licence is required.
