Upon completing my A-levels in 2003 I joined Smith Partnership as a Junior HR Administrator, now I am a HR Officer. During my time with the company I have completed the Certificate in Personnel Practice.
My role involves supporting staff recruitment, contracts of employment, supporting the induction programme, doing business cards, recording sickness and annual leave and absence management. I also help organise maternity leave, assist in payroll, action childcare vouchers, process leavers, arrange training courses, temporary workers and locums, probation review meeting documentation, client satisfaction questionnaires and organise and do minutes for communication forum meetings. I also look after Smith Savings, HR related admin and project work, all in all I’m kept pretty busy!
Beyond the workplace, I lead a busy life fitting in work, housework and family life (I’m married with two young children). I enjoy seeing friends, eating out and going to the cinema, but above all, having quality family time for days out and holidays where we can make memories. I used to love reading but since having children, have not finished a book for over four years!
