I have worked at Smith Partnership for more than 20 years, first joining the firm in 1995 as a legal secretary. While working here I have been able to gain my Bachelor of Laws degree from Derby University. I also went on to study at the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
As part of my role I deal with all aspects of domestic violence and private law children act cases. I have appeared in various courts representing both applicants and respondents.
I have been successful in enforcing contact orders in high conflict cases and have dealt with child abduction cases, including at the High Court.
When not at work I must admit, I enjoy hitting the shops, (I have a weakness for handbags), in fact, shopping could be an alternative career option!
