Spooky Pumpkin Art Competition raises money for Rainbows
Smith Partnership is delighted have raised £242 on Halloween, Monday 31st October, for its official charity Rainbows Hospice, by asking employees to carve a spooky design on a pumpkin and to buy homemade cakes!
Smith Partnership's employees got their pumpkin carving knives out and created some wonderful designs, ranging from ‘hung over’ ghouls to cobwebs and even butterflies. The winner of the competition was Diane Lee in the IT team who created a wonderful picture of a ghost in a tree on one side, and Frankenstein on the other!
Claire Twells, Partner at Smith Partnership said: “We were so pleased all offices took part in the pumpkin carving competition to raise money for Rainbows, it was such good fun and we really got some very creative designs. Of course, as always the cake sale was a big hit!
“Rainbows offer amazing care and support for families in very difficult circumstances. Our teams understand many of the issues involved as we deal with many legal related issues during such sad times in many people’s lives. We will continue to raise money within our events programme throughout the year!”
