Solicitors get on their bikes

A TRIO of Derby solicitors got on two wheels to cycle 100km, helping raise nearly £3,000.

Jak Ward, Andy Hambleton and Simon Richardson, from Smith Partnership, took part in the Nightrider challenge.

The event involved a grueling 100km moonlit bike ride around the streets of London.

The lawyers got on their bikes in support of the Lymphoma Association in memory of one of their colleagues who died from the disease. It is the company's designated charity this year.

The Nightrider challenge was the firm's main money raising event, although Smith Partnership has also held a charity football tournament and cake sales.

In total, the firm has raised around £3,000 for the charity.
