Smith Partnership visits RAINBOWS with special Christmas gifts
The team at Smith Partnership was honoured to have visited Rainbows, the hospice for children and young people in Loughborough, on Wednesday 14th December; hand delivering over 100 Christmas gifts to the residents.
Rainbows was chosen as the official charity for Smith Partnership in May 2016 for a 12 month period, with its employees taking part in a number of fundraising activities and daring stunts, such as the 65 metre abseil down Derby Cathedral tower; having collectively raised over £2,500 so far!
Claire Twells, Partner at Smith Partnership said: “I was very humbled to have helped deliver the Christmas presents to the hospice last week, kindly donated by our employees. The gifts mean so much and spread some extra festive cheer in a very special place.
“The incredible team at Rainbows offer amazing care and support for families in very difficult circumstances. Our teams understand many of the issues involved as we deal with many legal related issues during such sad times in many people’s lives.”
Smith Partnership, one of largest firms of solicitors in the East Midlands, is very proud to have chosen Rainbows as its official charity, as it is a place where life-limited children and their families can find care and support. The special team helps relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavements and care for children until the end.
