Promotions For Smith Partnership’s Team

Smith Partnership, one of the Midlands’ leading regional law firms, is delighted to announce the appointment of three new Partners.

Claire Twells, who is Head of Debt Recovery, has been promoted to Partner, alongside Martin Bradbury who leads the Clinical Negligence Team and Justin Ablott who is a Higher Court Advocate in the Criminal Department.

Claire Twells joined the Firm in 2007 and has ten years experience as a Commercial Litigation and Debt Recovery solicitor.  She has extensive knowledge and acts for clients both nationally and internationally. Claire is also the Residential Landlord and Tenant Specialist and can assist on any residential property disputes, including evicting tenants.

Martin Bradbury joined Smith Partnership in 1993 and offers a locally based service to victims of medical accidents. This includes attendance at inquests, complaints to professional bodies and assistance with the NHS Complaints Procedure

Justin Ablott joined the firm in 1996 and has a vast amount of experience in all areas of criminal litigation. Having spent a number of years building a first class reputation in the local magistrate’s courts, Justin is now concentrating on conducting cases in the Crown Court as one of the firm’s Higher Court Advocates.
