Smith Partnership welcomes world famous entrepreneur Josephine Fairley to Women in Business

Smith Partnership is proud to welcome co-founder of the Green & Black’s chocolate empire, Josephine Fairley, as guest speaker at the first ever ‘An Evening with Women in Business’ event on Thursday 6th October at Hoar Cross Hall Spa Hotel.

Women in Business partner, Claire Twells, Partner at Smith Partnership Solicitors said: “We are absolutely delighted to launch our first ‘An Evening with Women in Business’ event, with world famous entrepreneur and journalist Josephine Fairley. The new spectacular annual event will offer 120 ladies a vibrant evening with a very special speaker, designed to inspire all working women in the region.

“Women in Business offers a programme of vibrant professional activities to inspire all working women, whether you run your own business or have a key role in a larger business. We know that our ladies really appreciate support from other like-minded business women, to gain confidence and new skills to push their boundaries and set new targets. We are hoping this annual spectacular will become the ‘must attend’ evening networking event in the ladies business calendar!”

Josephine, who co-founded Green & Black’s in 1991, will share her inspiring business story and reveal her personal experiences of growing a £100million worldwide brand.

The Women in Business partners Smith Partnership, FCM Associates, Burton & District Chamber of Commerce and Hoar Cross Hall Spa Hotel are also delighted to be raising money on the night with a raffle for their new charity for 2016 – Every Cloud, who raise money to buy special gifts for people who are undergoing breast Cancer treatment.
