Law Firm welcome The RSPCA as its chosen charity

Pumpkin Carving Competition, 2017

The RSPCA is delighted to have just been named as the chosen charity for Smith Partnership Solicitors, and to mark the occasion its representative attended an official charity launch event at the Derby law firm’s office on Tuesday 31st October.

The RSPCA was chosen by Smith Partnership employees to be its official charity for the next 12 months, with a wide range of fundraising activities being arranged, including pumpkin carving competition, raffles, Christmas jumper day, cake sales, competitions and much more!

Claire Twells, Partner at Smith Partnership said: “Every year our staff support our charity fund raising events at our offices across the East Midlands, and we were so thrilled to welcome Deb Peck from RSPCA Derby to officially launch our events this year, where she spoke about their important work to help and protect vulnerable animals in the region.

“To kick start our fund raising our staff entered a Halloween pumpkin carving competition which was a huge success and we have loads more events being planned over the next few months! I will also have the great pleasure of delivering a great big sack full of tasty animal treats to the charity before Christmas, so our staff are looking forward to boosting the fundraising pot!"

Smith Partnership, one of largest firms of solicitors in the East Midlands, is very proud to have chosen The RSPCA this year, as it a community based charity that works to prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection. Their mission is to, by all lawful means, prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of all animals.
