Smith Partnership, is offering its first FREE Employment Law seminar of the year, to local business owners, at Derby Museum on Thursday 30th March at 9.30am until 11am.
The FREE seminar will provide an opportunity for delegates to be updated on key employment law issues currently faced by local business owners; whether it be Brexit or the uncertainty created by Donald Trump’s US presidency, the seminar will try to put all the hot topics of discussion into context.
Britain’s vote to leave the EU on 23rd June 2016 caused shockwaves across the country and the rest of the world, with most people still really none the wiser as to what the impact might be on their business, and in particular Employment Law.
James Johnson, Partner at Smith Partnership said: “We are delighted to continue our series of Employment Law seminars in 2017 for local business owners. It is amazing to think that nine months have gone by since UK voted to leave the EU, and we are all still anxious about the implications on employment law issues, such as the growing gig economy and equal pay for men and women.
“I will be hosting the event along with my colleague Rebecca Reid. We will be explaining everything the delegates need to know about the legal changes in the employment law area so far in 2017, and those predicted to have major impact in the months ahead.
“We hope our series of seminars continue to be an opportunity for local business owners to pick up some important legal information and practical tips, within an informal atmosphere.”
