About Rob
Rob Smith is the firm's Prison Law Representative specialising in all types of Prison Law & Prisoners Rights work. He leads a team of Prison Law Practitioners from the firm's Stoke on Trent office.

He regularly appears before District Judges sitting as Independent Prison Adjudicators in Prison Disciplinary Cases where prisoners are at risk of further terms of imprisonment being imposed.

Feedback from client's who have been represented in Prison Adjudications is invariably excellent and Rob has a particular specialism in technical defences to all charges under the Prison Disciplinary System especially Mandatory Drugs Testing cases. He also specialises in claims by prisoners brought from their Unlawful Detention by the Prison Authorities.

Rob is married with two children and takes a keen interest in politics, current affairs and is a former youth and community worker
