About Liz
Liz joined Smith Partnership in 2008 having spent nine years working in a media practise in London. Liz is a litigator specialising in contractual and intellectual property disputes. She has experience in bringing proceedings for breach of copyright, breach of trademark, passing off, anti-counterfeiting work in the music and computer industries and has worked in brand protection for household names. She also has experience of libel and defamation actions, multi jurisdiction litigation and bringing criminal prosecutions for breach of copyright.

Liz also lectures at the University of Derby, teaching Copyright and Law on illegal file sharing.
