About James
James joined Smith Partnership in 2005, having previously practiced within a national firm. James is a Partner and heads the Employment Team.

James has a particular interest and specialism in defending Employment Tribunal Proceedings and also being involved in the employment aspects of commercial transactions, including advising on the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006.

James is married with two children. He has a keen interest in most sports, particularly football, and also is a keen runner, regularly running half marathons including the Great North Run.
